If you follow me on any type of social media you know by now that I am engaged to be married to the wonderful, amazing Bryan Woolbright. If you follow me on social media and you don’t know that by now you live in a hole. But that’s okay.
Bryan and I are coworkers at Church Media Group. He started working here almost a month before me and loved the peace and quiet before I came. When I arrived I brought both laughter and loudness to CMG.
I remember thinking Bryan was cute when I first met him, a little dorky but still really cute. But his quietness confused me and I brushed him off as a possible prospect. In my mind I wanted someone who was going to be exactly like me. (Oh the irony!)
As I began to learn code and the ways of the world wide web, Bryan became my patient teacher who would sit next to me and teach me HTML and CSS. I am a pretty klutzy coder, but he was calm and loving. We began to talk more and more and I realized that there might be more under that scruffy exterior.
After a few weeks of texting back and forth secretly, he called me. I remember being a little confused but excited. We talked until 3 am in the morning about everything! I remember confiding in him as he gave me wise counsel. I also remember hearing about his past as a missionary kid in Brazil.
Not much longer we started dating!
We have had ups and downs and learning to work together at our jobs and in life was interesting but we made it this far.
He has taught me how to love, how to be patient and to be myself. I love him.
On January 31st Bryan asked me to be his wife. A feat I never though would ever happen in the world. But by God’s grace did.
It was like any other day at Church Media. Bryan and I headed out for lunch when I saw a giant vase of flowers with a note next to it and thus began the plan that he had been forging for the previous weeks.
Here are some of the photos my awesome friends and coworkers took.
